What personal data is collected and why it is collected

The personal information collected through North Wild Kitchen’s blog is used solely to manage the services offered and to fulfill features according to the users’ wishes. When visitors leave comments on the site the data shown in the comments form is collected, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

You can request what data I hold on you, including comments you have left on this site and any data you have provided to North Wild Kitchen. You can also request that any personal data held about you be erased.
